Understand the difference between practical Xactimate workflow training and official Verisk certification.

Working adjuster and Parrot Key instructorUpdatedTraining teaches skills and workflow. Certification is a separate credential issued through Verisk's certification program after the applicable requirements and examination are completed. Parrot Key provides independent field and estimating training; it does not issue official Verisk or Xactware certification.
A person can need practical field coaching even when preparing for certification, and a certified user can still need help applying the software within a company's inspection process. The objective should be stated clearly so the class teaches the right material.
Parrot Key focuses on repeatable property workflows, graded practice, and file review. Certification questions should always be checked against current Verisk materials.
It can strengthen practical sketching, scoping, estimating, and review skills, but students should use Verisk's current exam objectives and preparation materials for the official credential.
