It can help a trained user open projects, sketch property areas, add estimate items, capture photographs and notes, review the file, and move work between the property and the office.
The value is not simply that Xactimate runs on a tablet. The value comes from connecting the inspection, sketch, photographs, notes, quantities, and estimate while the property is still available. A rushed mobile file can create just as much desk work as paper notes, so the workflow still needs a defined review step.
Parrot Key teaches Xactimate Mobile as part of a complete field process. The class follows the same order an operator uses at a property instead of demonstrating disconnected buttons.
