The exact connection and supported hardware can vary, so the operator should confirm current compatibility, pair the device before the inspection, and verify imported dimensions rather than assuming every transmission is correct.
A laser can reduce manual entry and reach awkward dimensions, but pairing failures, unit settings, wrong active walls, or unreviewed transmissions can introduce confident-looking errors. The measurement tool does not replace orientation or judgment.
Parrot Key teaches the operator to call out the active wall, take the measurement, confirm the transferred value, and check the room before continuing. That spoken sequence is useful during team practice.
No single method is best for every property. Teams should compare room complexity, required accuracy, device support, correction time, and fallback needs before choosing a standard.
