A team may use it as a field-capture layer before reviewing or continuing work in Xactimate. The exact handoff should be tested with the team's current subscriptions and file requirements.
An export can move geometry or project information without making every room property, quantity, item, note, or photograph correct. The receiving estimator still needs a defined import and verification process.
Parrot Key teaches the two tools as one tested handoff. Students capture a small property, export it, inspect the receiving file, and document what still needs to be corrected or completed.
No. A compatible handoff can reduce duplicate capture, but the estimator must still verify the imported result and complete the appropriate Xactimate estimating and review work.
