The Leica DISTO X3 is a laser distance meter equipped with Bluetooth Smart technology that provides accuracy of 0.04 inches in measuring distances up to 500ft with X-Range technology. Its rugged design is comparable to the X310 (e7400x) and has an IP65 rating, is drop tested at 2 meters, and features a rotatable display, making taking awkward measurements more ergonomic.

In addition to its tough exterior, the X3 is also intelligent, featuring Smart Horizontal mode with an onboard tilt sensor that allows you to measure over and around obstacles. With Bluetooth connectivity, you can transfer your measurements to your computer or tablet and use the DISTO Plan App for iOS and Android. The X3 also has a bright, colorized, backlit display for taking measurements in various lighting conditions.

For even more advanced measuring capabilities, the X3 is compatible with the DST 360, a smart tripod and adapter set that enables the measurement of point-to-point (P2P) distances from a third position by combining rotation, angle, and distance data. To further enhance its capabilities, you can use the DISTO Plan App to access Sketch, Document, and Smart Room features to create detailed CAD-ready floor and wall plans, including doors and windows, and export them as .DXF or .DWG files.
